Route B in Perry, Cape counties reduced for pavement work

Route B in Perry and Cape Girardeau counties will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform asphalt overlay, according to a Missouri Department of Transportation news release. This section of road is from the Perryville city limits to Route KK near Friedheim. The release said the work will be done daily from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday, July 15, to Friday, Aug. 2.

SB I-55 in Cape County reduced for guardrail repairs

Southbound Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau County -- from mile marker 99.6 to mile marker 99.2 near Cape Girardeau -- will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform guardrail repairs. A Missouri Department of Transportation news release said the work will take place daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Friday, July 5, through Tuesday, July 16.
