Sidewalk repairs impact SB U.S. 61 in Perry County

Southbound U.S. Route 61 in Perry County — from Lucy Street to Ash Street in Perryville — will be impacted as contractor crews replace various portions of the sidewalk. According to a Missouri Department of Transportation news release, the work will take place daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, July 29, through Friday, Aug. 9. The release said traffic will shift to utilize the center turn lane when available. Wide loads won't be impacted as crews will make temporary accommodations. Motorists should anticipate crews working in close proximity to traffic, the release said.
