Rhodes - 50 Years

Mr. and Mrs. Vernon "PeeWee" Rhodes of Cape Girardeau recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

A party was hosted by their children and grandchildren at the home of a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Samantha Rhodes of Cape Girardeau.

Rhodes and Carole Dalton were married Sept. 26, 1959, at the Church of God in Esther, Mo.

They have three children, Kelly (Kerry) Holloway of Fayetteville, Ark., Mark (Pam) Rhodes, and Scott (Samantha) Rhodes of Cape Girardeau.

The couple has six grandchildren, Ryun, Kelsey and Casey Holloway of Fayetteville, Samuel, Zachary and Annabelle Rhodes of Cape Girardeau.
