Peters celebrate 50 years

LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Ambrose and Patricia Peters of Leopold celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 15, 2005.

A dinner and dance reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, hosted by their children.

The couple was married Oct. 15, 1955, at St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton, Mo.

The Peters have seven children, Cynthia Jansen of Leopold, Donna Kasten of Tilsit, Jean Clubb and Tim Peters of Marble Hill, Mo., Chris Peters of Scott City, Valerie Peters of Imperial, Mo., and the late Ambrose Peters.

They have 10 grandchildren, including the late Amber M. Clubb.
