Peetz -- 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Junior Peetz of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 16 by renewing their vows at Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson. The Rev. Joe Rowley officiated and Wanda Moll Aufdenberg was the organist.

A reception followed in the lower church auditorium with a meal served by the Bethany Circle of the church. Many family members, friends and neighbors were in attendance.

Peetz and the former Elsie Marie Nitsch were married at the church on April 16, 1966.

The couple has three sons: Allen Peetz of Jackson; Lonnie (LeAnn) Peetz of St. Joseph, Missouri; and Shawn Peetz of the home. The couple has resided in Jackson since their wedding in 1966.
