Party honors Meyers on 65th

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Meyer of Cape Girardeau were honored with a dinner party May 28, 2006, in celebration of their 65th wedding anniversary.

Hosts were their children, Mary Jean McIntyre, Janice Meyer, Thomas M. Meyer, David Meyer, Deborah Joyce, Elizabeth McFerron, and Donna Boyd.

Meyer and Helen Giroir were married May 8, 1941, at St. Mary's Cathedral by the Rev. Schuman.

The family moved here in 1946. He has been a realtor more than 60 years.

They have seven children, 13 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
