Jackson school officials, concerned about possible health hazards to school children from "blown insulation" used on ceilings at Junior High and Millersville schools, have decided to have insulation tested to determine if there is asbestos in it.

Paving is progressing on highway from Cape Girardeau bridge to McClure, Ill., and attempt will be made by Rouse Construction Co., to complete laying of second mile of road by end of week; more than mile of concrete has been laid.
