Hundreds of people were in Cape Girardeau yesterday and today to attend the Farmers Day exhibit of machinery and a small livestock show at Fairground Park.
The high school boys will furnish Cape Girardeau with football this year; since the Normal School athletic department has completely dropped from the gridiron and substituted the bean bag as a more ladylike method of working off surplus energy, the high school lads are going to take up the gauntlet; Julien Dearmont will coach the team.
