Cape Girardeau County Court tentatively approved a resolution yesterday allowing for the issuance of $2.75 million in tax-exempt revenue bonds to finance the purchase of a Cape Girardeau nursing home by a not-for-profit corporation; the court acted at the request of Victor Katt, who is seeking to purchase Cape LaCroix Manor nursing home.

Julien N. Friant of Cape Girardeau went to St. Louis yesterday, boarded the Gov. Franklin D. Roosevelt special train there and went with the delegation to Jefferson City; he spent time with the presidential candidate's party until the train left there, headed west.
A group of young men has formed the Cape Amusement Co., which will build a theater at 23 N. Main St.; a large force of carpenters and mechanics are remodeling that building into a vaudeville theater.
