Bureaucratic bottleneck in Jefferson City is stalling Southeast Missouri Hospital's 2 1/2-year effort to participate in Missouri Crippled Children's Service; state through service helps pay medical costs of children with certain ailments, if they are patients at hospitals approved for participation and the family meets income guidelines; hospital signed contract with service on June 18, but has heard nothing since.
Three wild dogs are reported to be threatening residents living in Sylvan Lane, Bend Road, North Sprigg, Flint Hill Road and Bertling areas; dogs have killed number of pets and are terrorizing neighborhood.
