Dr. V. Paul Grisham, dentist in Cape Girardeau for 47 years and man well known for his numerous professional contributions, died yesterday at Southeast Missouri Hospital at age 70; he is survived by his wife, the former Dimple Underwood; one son, a sister and three grandchildren.

Rezoning of area in which John Cobb School was located before school building burned was asked yesterday at city council meeting by representatives of Cape Girardeau Board of Education; property, located at Merriwether and Ellis streets, is in two-family zone, and board is asking it be rezoned to commercial.
Thirteen additional room or unit memorials in proposed Southeast Missouri Hospital addition -- representing pledges of $3,000 or more -- are reported by Jack O. Knehans, general chairman; total of 36 lifetime living memorials have thus far been reserved in new addition, to be financed by current $360,000 building fund.

Four white squirrels, gift of Tennessee man, find a home in Courthouse Park; J.R. Carroll Jr. of Kenton, Tenn., presents animals to city, with admonition that they must never be sold; legend has it that if white squirrels are sold, they will die.
First floor of new building on Good Hope Street, to be occupied by Kinder's Drug Store, is being placed.
