CHAFFEE, Mo. -- People younger than 17 have been legislated off Chaffee's streets during late night hours by a curfew ordinance; the ordinance provides for a fine of from $10.50 to $100 against any parent whose child is found on the city streets after 11 p.m. on all nights except Friday and Saturday, when the limit is midnight.

Special services are held in the evening at the B'nai Israel Synagogue; five upperclassmen of the Hebrew Union College of Cincinnati participate; the group is completing a 10,000-mile motor trip across the country, this stop ending its tour.

Max Blitstein, owner of the two Cape Cut Rate stores here, announces he has purchased the Marquette Drug Store, located in the Marquette Hotel building, from J.F. Cox Jr.; the latter owned and operated the store the past 18 months.

Frisco general manager W.T. Tyler is in the city to confer with city officials and commercial club members regarding the new passenger station and the completion of the work along the riverfront; he brings with him the plans for the new brick depot; it will be 150 feet long by about 40 feet wide; in the center of the building will be a square tower about 40 feet high; from this tower wins will extend north and south.

Charles "Doc" Unnerstall has sold his restaurant in the rear of the Elks Bar in Haarig to Albert Blank and leaves for St. Louis to join his family.
