An underground gasoline leak at the Mobil Oil Co. terminal at South Sprigg Street and Highway 74 forces the company to transfer about 1.3 million gallons of gasoline from one tank to another, which is expected to take about 17 hours; about 12,000 gallons of gasoline leaked.
CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Chaffee Alderman Reece Brown will be appointed to the new post of city administrator here pending approval by the board of aldermen next week; Brown is a former teacher and school administrator with the Chaffee School District.
