Lamenting the quirks of nature and the shallow waters of Midwestern rivers, officials of the American Waterways Wind Orchestra have postponed tonight's riverfront concert in Cape Girardeau; it is also announced that the Point Counterpoint II barge won't make the trip to Cape Girardeau; instead, the concert has been rescheduled for Saturday evening at Capaha Park.
Officials with Biokyowa Inc. announce a $15 million expansion of the company's feed additive production plant in Cape Girardeau; construction will get underway immediately.
