Five members of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity at Southeast Missouri State University have been charged with involuntary manslaughter in hazing death of man pledging fraternity; Michael Davis, 25, of St. Louis, died at St. Francis Hospital Tuesday of blunt force trauma to head.

City of Cape Girardeau has been awarded $449,630 in federal highway funds by Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission that will be used for development of recreational trail along Cape LaCroix Creek.
