Student sentiment at Southeast Missouri State University appears favorable to proposed multipurpose athletic facility, and among those who approve of new facility, domed stadium is overwhelmingly favored; but slight majority of students who voted on issues indicted they don't want fee increase to help pay for facility.

Dr. H.O. Grauel, professor emeritus of English at Southeast Missouri State University, has been named president of board of Missouri School for the Blind in St. Louis.

Seventh Annual Missourian Art Show plays to full house in afternoon, after yesterday's rain reduced crowd slightly; guest artists this year are F. Carlton Ball, America's foremost potter and teacher at Southern Illinois University, and Aaron Bohrod, artist in residence at University of Wisconsin.

Mrs. Idama Keaton of Caruthersville, Mo., has been elected pastor of local Bethel Assembly of God, 421 Broadway.

75 years ago: Nov. 22, 1928

Southeast Missouri's law enforcement officers are cracking down on popular sport of hunting; Mississippi County officers especially are doing their bit stopping Sunday hunting by arresting all hunters they find out on the Sabbath, and by taking them into justice court to pay fines.

Richard Behrens has purchased interest of R.H. Alden in Alden-Behrens Motor Co. on Broadway.
