Two chartered buses depart from Legion Hall shortly after noon, loaded with white-coverall-clad Golden Troopers and rest of Cape Girardeau party bound for Cairo, Ill., and embarkation on City of Miami train for national American Legion convention in Miami, Fla.; Troopers will participate in national drum and bugle corps competition.

Perryville - H.L. Lueders, Cape Girardeau photographer, was elected president of Southeast Missouri Photographers Association at closing session of its annual convention Tuesday; Charleston was selected as 1927 convention city.
Dr. William G. Patton of St. Louis, who is in town to address Southeast Missouri doctors at closing meeting of their annual convention this evening, recently returned from Europe with well-defined ideas regarding superiority of the American surgeon; Patton was at Vienna and other large points with party of American medics and had opportunity of seeing finest of Europe's specialists in action.
