Mr. and Mrs. Bennie J. Morrison of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary June 12, 2005, with a reception at Port Cape Girardeau.

Hosts were their daughters and a son-in-law, Melinda Hilterbrand, Margaret Baber, and Marsha and Matthew Elfrink, all of Cape Girardeau.

Out-of-town guests attended from Sikeston, Jackson; Ava, Ill.; and Conyers, Ga.

Morrison and Glenda Marie Keller were married June 12, 1945, in Sikeston, Mo., by the Rev. E.D. Owen. Their attendants were Dorothy Marshall Clinton and W.J. Bennett.

The Morrisons are formerly of Sikeston.

They have seven grandchildren, Leanne Parker of Jackson, Jason Baber of Jacksonville, Fla., Bart Elfrink and Alex Elfrink of Cape Girardeau, Keri Cook of Burbank, Calif., Kelly Hilterbrand of St. Louis, and Cheryl Slatinsky of Springfield, Mo. They have six great-grandchildren, Trey and Molly Parker, Alexis and Jonathan Baber, and Olivia and Sydney Slatinsky.
