McCoys to mark 50th event

THEBES, Ill. -- Mr. and Mrs. Charles McCoy of Thebes will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner June 19 in Shalimar, Fla.

Host will be their daughter, Patty Monroe.

McCoy and the former Minnie Foster were married May 28, 1955, in Biloxi, Miss. Their attendants were Sammy and Willa Fern McCoy of Thebes.

The couple has four children, Lionel McCoy of Biloxi, Patty Monroe of Shalimar, Philip McCoy of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Lori Sheldon of Madison, Ga. They also have 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
