Mayfields observe 50th event

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph E. Mayfield of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner reception June 25, 2006, at Delmonico's.

Hosts were their sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Tammie Mayfield and Doug and Denise Mayfield, all of Jackson.

Mayfield and the former Vera Rhodes were married July 1, 1956, at Sedgewickville, by the Rev. Harley Statler.

Their attendants were Carol Estes Craft and Glenn Mayfield.

Mayfield is retired from Spartech in Cape Girardeau. Mrs. Mayfield is retired from Rubbermaid in Jackson.

The couple has four grandchildren, Chad, Leslie and Rachel Mayfield, Ashley McDowell; and a great-grandson, Elijah Mayfield.
