Maddox - 60 years

Mr. and Mrs. R. Finley Maddox of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a dinner with close friends.

Maddox and Hannah E. Languell were married Aug. 13, 1950, at First Baptist Church in Oran, Mo.

The couple has three children, Dr. Mark F. Maddox of Kansas City, Mo., Kent L. Maddox of Brooklyn, N.Y., and the late Janette E. Maddox. They have two granddaughters, Alysse and Miranda of Brooklyn.

Maddox was a pharmaceutical representative 31 years, and Mrs. Maddox was a teacher 30 years, both retiring in 1989.
