Lemons - 60 Years

Mr. and Mrs. Robert N. Lemons of Cape Girardeau recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Lemons and Doris Bowden were married June 16, 1951, at Grace United Methodist Church, by the Rev. George Heslar.

The couple has a daughter, Robyn Albright-Seals and husband Mike of House Springs, Mo. They have three grandchildren, Justin (Athena) of Jackson, Lindsay Albright VanGennip (Scott) of O'Fallon, Ill., and Katelyn Albright of House Springs.

Robert is a graduate of Columbia College in Columbia, Mo. He served 35 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. Doris is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She retired after teaching 18 years at Oak Ridge School District.
