Lemonds together 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Lemonds of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner party June 19, 2004, at the home of a daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and Gerald Taylor.

Hosts were their daughters and sons-in-law, Lynne and Gerald Taylor, and Donna and Kevin Etzold, all of Cape Girardeau.

Lemonds and Thelma Lorenz were married June 19, 1954, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau, by the Rev. Wilbert Koenig. Their attendants were Marlene Saupe and Jack Lemonds.

The couple has two grandchildren, Kaydee and Diana Etzold.
