Lawrences wed 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lawrence of St. Louis celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 17, 2003, with a party hosted by their children. Lawrence and Jerry Crader were married Oct. 17, 1953, in Cape Girardeau, by the Rev. Thomas Messer. Their attendants were Pyrtle Seabaugh and Marilyn Lawrence. Lawrence and Jerry Crader were married Oct. 17, 1953, in Cape Girardeau, by the Rev. Thomas Messer. Their attendants were Pyrtle Seabaugh and Marilyn Lawrence. They moved from Cape Girardeau in 1959.

They have two children, Robert Lawrence of St. Charles, Mo., and Karen Lindsey of Joplin, Mo. They also have four grandchildren.
