Mr. and Mrs. Orville Krauss of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner April 13, 2008. Hosts were their children.
Krauss and Delores Seabaugh were married April 13, 1958, in Advance, Mo., by the Rev. A.E. Ray, grandfather of the groom.
Mr. and Mrs. Krauss are retired from Cape Girardeau School District. She was a music teacher 25 years. He was a high school counselor and vocational adult education director a total of 33 years.
The couple has five children, Carissa Albers of Kansas City, Mo., Eric Krauss of Cincinnati, Ohio, Melissa McCarthy and Cassandra Krauss of Maui, Hawaii, and DeAnna Klokkenga of Chicago.
They have six grandchildren, David and Cooper Albers, Nathan and Rebecca Krauss, Cameron and Gray McCarthy; and a great-grandson, Dawson Albers.
