Knights observe 60th event

Mr. and Mrs. Wallace R. Knight of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception Jan. 22, 2005, at Saxony Village Activity Center.

Knight and Frances Ione Brorein were married Jan. 22, 1945, in Fort Campbell, Ky. They are formerly of Advance, Mo. He was a banker in Lutesville and Mrs. Knight was an elementary school music supervisor in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Their children and spouses are Wallace R. (Candace) Knight II of Collierville, Tenn., David B. (Ann) Knight of Cape Girardeau, and Mary F. Miller of Jackson. They have six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
