Knaup - 50 Years

Mr. and Mrs. John F. Knaup of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows June 11, 2011, at St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Rev. Thomas Kiefer officiating.

The couple, their children and grandchildren then had dinner at Bella Italia Restaurant.

Knaup and Dolores Ann Jarosik were married June 10, 1961, at St. Mary's Cathedral.

He retired from Knaup Greenhouse in Jackson, and Mrs. Knaup retired from Cape Radiology Group. They are members of Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson.

The couple has seven children: Todd (Gail) Knaup of Cape Girardeau, Andrew (Angie) Knaup of Potosi, Mo., Michelle (Michael) Rogers of St. Louis, Susan (V. John) Dirnberger of Oran, Amy Knaup (James) Grounds of Swaziland, Africa, Allison Knaup of St. Louis, and Sarah Knaup of San Diego, Calif.

They have 14 grandchildren, Sydney Stein and Isabel Knaup; Joshua, Matthew, Melissa, Timothy, Dylan and Samuel Rogers; Erica Brown, Brittany and Courtney Dirnberger; Andrea and Anthony Knaup; and Rowan Grounds.
