Jones are together 50 years

Dean and Sue Jones of Jackson observed their 50th wedding anniversary by hosting a party March 10, 2007, at New McKendree United Methodist Church Celebration Center.

Guests attended from Missouri, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Illinois.

Jones and Sue Johnson were married March 8, 1957, in Hernando, Miss. He is the son of the late Spencer and Ethel Morton Jones of Jackson. Sue is the daughter of the late Dewey and Mattie Alfultis Johnson of Jackson.

The couple has a son, Alan D. Jones and wife Kathy of Green Bay, Wis.; a granddaughter, Danielle Jones of Bethlehem, Pa., and grandson, Ryan Jones of Green Bay.
