Mr. and Mrs. Albert Job of Cape Girardeau observed their 60th wedding anniversary June 26, 2008.
Job and Edna Ida Heisserer were married June 26, 1948, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo., by the Rev. John Keusenkothen.
She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Solomon Heisserer of Scott City. He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Job of Cape Girardeau.
Their attendants were Melva Jane Heisserer Kalkbrenner of Beaumont, Texas, Patricia Ann Hoeckele Wingerter of Perryville, Mo., Virginia Lee Job Conley of Cape Girardeau, the late Louis Kalkbrenner of Beaumont, the late Paul M. Job and Elwood Conley of Cape Girardeau.
Job was a farmer all his life. Mrs. Job had worked at Ely Walker Co.
The Jobs have 10 children, Marilyn Schott and Susie Holzum of Jackson, Albert "Buddy" Job Jr., Joe Job, Carolyn Ryan, John Job, Tom Job, and Mary Job, all of Cape Girardeau, Nancy Davis of Patton, Mo., and Linda Schmitt of Paducah, Ky. They have 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
