Jackson - 50 Years

THEBES, Ill. -- Mr. and Mrs. Joe Jackson of Thebes recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Destin, Fla., with children and grandchildren.

Jackson and Velma Lambert were married June 30, 1962, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, by the Rev. Slay.

The couple has two children, Kim (Frank) Lawrence of Jackson, and Keith Jackson of Columbia, Ill. They have six grandchildren, Emily and Zach Lawrence of Jackson; Tyler O'Leary, Connor, Serena and Cohen Jackson of Columbia.
