Huttons married 50 years

OAK RIDGE, Mo. -- Dr. and Mrs. Walter William Hutton of Oak Ridge celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a luncheon and reception May 26, 2002, at Route 25 Hall in Jackson, Mo.

Hutton and Shirley Jean Finney were married May 24, 1952, at First Christian Church in Kirksville, Mo.

He graduated two weeks later from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, and he interned the next year at McCormick Osteopathic Hospital in Moberly, Mo.

Members of the wedding party in attendance were Grace Seigo of New Westminster, B.C., Canada, sister of the groom, and Ronald and Margaret Finney of Raytown, Mo., brother and sister-in-law of the bride.

The couple has three sons.

Guests attended from Grand Lake, Colo.; Washington, Iowa; Marion and O'Fallon, Ill.; Reedsburg, Wis.; Birmingham, Ala.; St. Louis and Kansas City areas, Sikeston, Chaffee, Scott City, Marble Hill, Delta, Burfordville, Oak Ridge, Cape Girardeau and Jackson, Mo.
