Hopper -- 50 years

Don and Carolyn Hopper of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 12 with a dinner and dance hosted by their three sons.

Hopper and Carolyn Jones were married Nov. 12, 1966, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Oscar A. Gerken performed the ceremony. Their attendants were Margaret Haman Kline, Brenda Leyerle Adcock, Larry R. Hopper and Ronnie D. Hopper.

The couple has three sons, Tim Hopper and Chris Hopper, both of Cape Girardeau, and Scott Hopper of O'Fallon, Missouri. They also have three grandchildren, Layna, Kolt and Izabella.
