Holland - 50 Years

BENTON, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Holland of Benton were honored with a dinner and dance in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.

The event was held Dec. 30, 2010, at Plaza Conference Center in Cape Girardeau. Hosts were their children, Denae LeDure of Commerce, Mo., and Dr. Joel Holland of Festus, Mo.

Guests attended from Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas, Mississippi and California.

Holland and Patsy Brazel were married Dec. 31, 1960, at Southern Baptist Church in Diehlstadt, Mo. Matron of honor was Judie Bridges Stone of Ironton, Mo. Best man was Gary Holland of Springdale, Ark.

The Hollands have four grandchildren, Coby and Jayme Holland, and Wyatt and Will LeDure.
