Hendrix - 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hendrix of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with mass at St. Mary's Cathedral and a dinner Jan. 17, 2009. Hosts were their children.

Hendrix and Rosemary Holtmeyer were married Feb. 17, 1959, in Washington, Mo.

Their children and spouses are Lisa and Michael Simmons and Rob and Leann Hendrix of Cape Girardeau, Lynn and John Kelly of St. Louis, and Lisbeth and Mark Hostetler of Columbia, Mo.

The couple has 18 grandchildren, Ryan, Laura and Caitlin Simmons; Ben, Brianna, Sean, Mary Terese and Shannon Kelly; Michael, Kathryn and Jacob Hostetler; Elaine, Robert, Matthew, Phillip, Lydia, Annelise and Cecilia Hendrix.
