Hahs celebrate 40th event

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hahs of Oak Ridge celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a dinner June 7, 2003, at New Salem United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.

Hosts were their sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Nancy Hahs, Scott and Jill Hahs, and Keith and Erin Hahs.

More than 150 guests attended from Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Sedgewickville, Daisy, Oak Ridge, Farrar, Marble Hill, Perryville, Caruthersville and St. Mary, Mo.; and from Tennessee and Illinois.

Hahs and Dorothy Langston were married June 9, 1963, at Whitewater Baptist Church in Whitewater. Members of the wedding party in attendance were Harold and Donna Pensel, Lonnie and Shirley Grebe, Sharon Bogenpohl, Kirby Friese, Sandy Rhodes and Weston Mangels.

The couple has five grandchildren, Cody, Kelly, Jessica, Brendan and Bryce Hahs.
