JACKSON, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hahn of Jackson celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with a reception July 14, 2002, at New McKendree United Methodist Church.

The event was hosted by their daughter and son-in-law, Saundra and Clarence "Dub" Suedekum of Cape Girardeau.

Hahn and Lillian Brown were married July 13, 1932, in Jackson. Both are natives of Bollinger County, Mo. She is the daughter of W.D. and Nellie Conder Brown. He is the son of John J. and Lucinda Stroder Hahn.

Mr. and Mrs. Hahn worked at International Shoe Co. in Jackson. He retired after 42 years, and she after 40 years.
