Grojeans mark 50th event

Mr. and Mrs. Francis Grojean of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 50th anniversary with a dinner May 22, 2005, at Drury Lodge.

Hosts were their children and spouses: Karen and Daniel Welker, Linda and Victor Farrow of Cape Girardeau, Richard and Laurie Grojean of Chesterfield, Mo., and Stephen and Michelle Grojean of St. Charles, Mo.

Grojean and Lucille Diebold were married May 21, 1955, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo., by the Rev. Joseph Keusenkothen.

The couple has 11 grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew and Emily Welker; Eric and Nathan Farrow; Justin, Alexander, Andrea and Blake Grojean; and Meghan and Bridget Grojean.
