FROHNA, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Grebing of Frohna celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner Dec. 22, 2013, at Kimbeland Country Cub in Jackson.
Grebing and Helen Weinhold were married Dec. 20, 1953, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna.
Vernon enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1952 and was stationed in Biloxi, Miss. Helen joined him after they were married, and they returned to the family farm in 1956, where they still reside.
They were blessed with five children, Carol (Duke) Duggan, Alan (Sara) Grebing, David (Robin) Grebing, Glenn (June) Grebing, and Jennifer (Ted) Uhlenhop.
The Grebings have nine grandchildren, Aaron, Jesse and Ben Grebing, Shannon Duggan, Claire Grebing, Grace, Allison, Maggie and Will Uhlenhop; and a stepgrandchild, Megan Adkinson.
