Gesells to celebrate 50th

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Gesell of Norfolk, Neb., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house Aug. 31, 2003.

The event will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk, hosted by their children and families.

Gesell and Lucille Dreyer were married July 26, 1953, at Christ Lutheran Church. They are formerly of Jackson.

Their children and spouses are: Pam and Terry Dede of Norfolk, Tom and Vicki Gesell of South Sioux City, Neb., Scott and Betty Gesell of Evergreen, Colo., Greg and Jody Gesell of Fremont, Neb., and Phil and Luanne Gesell of Norfolk. The couple has 11 grandchildren.

A daughter, Rebecca Gesell, is deceased.
