Don and Coletta Seabaugh Garland celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on July 10 at the Lutheran Home Assisted Living West in Cape Girardeau, where they live.
Garland and the former Coletta Seabaugh were married July 5, 1946, at Sedgewickville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Northdurst officiated the ceremony. Milford Seabaugh was best man and Geneva Seabaugh was matron of honor.
The couple's son, Ronnie Garland, planned and hosted the anniversary event. He lives in Henderson, Nevada, with his wife, Judy, and daughter, Rhonda.
Jeff Hahs and Joann Bollinger provided music.
