They work together every day at K.E. Foeste Masonry Inc., a business they started more than 40 years ago. They are very active members of Trinity Lutheran Church at Egypt Mills. The couple enjoys taking trips, attending activities of their grandchildren, and time with family and friends.

The Foestes have three children, Jackie (John) Payne, Mark Foeste (Andrea Stotts), and Jenny (Brent) Brune, all of Cape Girardeau. They have eight grandchildren, Ashley Foeste (Garrett Sparkman), Jack Foeste, Zach Stotts, J.T. (Whitney) Payne, Jakob Payne, Maddie, Emma and Clara Brune, all of the Cape Girardeau and Jackson area. They also have two great-grandchildren, Ella Sparkman and Camden Payne.
