Feltys are married 65 years

Mr. and Mrs. Quentin Felty of Millersville celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a reception Dec. 7, 2003, at Fairview United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.

Hosts were their children and grandchildren. Guests attended from Springfield, Ill., Millersville, Marble Hill, Ballwin, Wildwood, Fredericktown, Whitewater, St. Louis, Jackson, Oak Ridge and Burfordville.

Felty and Virginia Summers were married Dec. 21, 1938, in Marble Hill, by the Rev. Fulbright. Their attendants were the late Edwin and Thelma Felty, brother and sister-in-law of the groom.

The couple's children and spouses are: Carol and Jim Sawyer of Springfield, Virgil and Loudeen Felty of Millersville, and Saundra and Don Crader of Marble Hill.

Their grandchildren and spouses are: Sherri Berry of Ballwin, Colin and Debbie Fjerstad of Wildwood, the Rev. Randy and Paula Sawyer of Fredericktown, Tom and Kim Sawyer of Marble Hill, and Dean and Chris Sawyer of Whitewater. The Felty's great-grandchildren are Ryan, Jessy and Justin Sawyer, Cassidy and Shelby Sawyer, Amber and Quentin Sawyer, Kellie, Sarah and Rachel Berry, and Kurtis and Amy Fjerstad.
