CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Albert Eftink of Chaffee celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 11, 2007.
They attended a Mass in their honor at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, followed by a reception in the parish hall hosted by their children.
Eftink and Martha Klipfel were married Aug. 12, 1947, at St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton, Mo., by the Rev. C.A. Schmalle.

Their attendants were Sister Nora Eftink, Anita Legrand Hinkebein, Eddie Klipfel and Robert Eftink.
The couple has nine children, Jim (Charlotte) Eftink of Bloomsdale, Mo., Jerome (Sharlett) Eftink, Marti (Tom) Obermann, Clara (Donnie) Essner, and Betty Eftink, all of Chaffee, David (Kathy) Eftink of Oran, Mo., Patsy (Dan) Brase and Sarah (Rick) Ross of Cape Girardeau, and Greg (Shirley) Eftink of Scott City.
The Eftinks have 25 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
