Mr. and Mrs. Vance Combs of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family trip to the Branson, Mo., area.

Combs and Evelyn June Hunt were married April 23, 1950, at First Baptist Church in Wellsville, Mo., by the Rev. Oscar Rush. Their attendants were Carrie Carr and Jebbi Rush.

The couple has three children, Bonnie (Hal) Majors of Cape Girardeau, Stephen Vance (Daphne) of Hillsboro, Mo., and Mary Jo (Doug) Grinnell of Elizabethtown, Ky. They have eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and five stepgrandchildren.

The Combs have resided in Cape Girardeau 42 years, and are members of Lynwood Baptist Church.
