Bridges to mark 50 years

BERTRAND, Mo. -- The Rev. and Mrs. Tom L. Bridges of Bertrand will observe their 50th wedding anniversary with a tea from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Tamms, Ill. Hosts are their children.

The couple was married Feb. 26, 1955, at Elco Baptist Church in Elco, Ill., by the Rev. Bill Robertson.

Their sons and spouses are Tom and Carol Bridges Jr. of Tamms, and Charles and Kellie Bridges of Benton, Mo.

They have nine grandchildren, Amanda, Nikki, Jennifer, Ashley, Chuck, Tommy, Brittany, Noah and Mindy Jo; and three great-granddaughters, Danielle, Lauren and Rylie.
