Ms. Murakami is the daughter of Jeanie Asher and Mark and Tammy Murakami, all of Cape Girardeau. She is employed at Saint Francis. Gipson is the son of Lloyd Gipson and Mara Gipson of Cape Girardeau.

Hampton

Son to Chad Jeremy and Leigh A. Hampton of Cape Girardeau, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 5:37 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009. Name, Isaac James. Weight, 8 pounds, 2 ounces. First child. Mrs. Hampton is the former Leigh Little, daughter of Jerry and Myrna Little of Kelso, Mo. She is a nurse practitioner at Cross Trails Medical Center. Hampton is the son of James and Marilyn Hampton of Cape Girardeau. He is retired from the U.S. Army.

He is employed by the city of Jackson Street Department.
