Son to Matthew James and Gail Denice Redding of Perryville, Mo., St. Francis Medical Center, 8:54 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2003. Name, Christian James. Weight, 5 pounds 14 ounces. Second child, first son. Mrs. Redding is the former Gail Allen, daughter of Wayne Allen of Doniphan, Mo., and the late Judy Allen. Redding is the son of Floyd and Jean Redding of Poplar Bluff, Mo. He is assistant manager at Wal-Mart in Perryville.

Brown

Daughter to Tracy Louis Brown and Nakeba Faye Thomas of Cape Girardeau, St. Francis Medical Center, 5:32 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2003. Name, Zora Morean. Weight, 6 pounds 7 1/2 ounces. Third child, second daughter. Ms. Thomas is the daughter of Earlean Thomas and the Rev. Johnny Thomas of Cape Girardeau. She is employed in housekeeping at Holiday Inn. Brown is the son of L.C. Brown of Kennett, Mo., and Gladys Hendrix of Caruthersville, Mo. He is a cook at O'Charley's Restaurant.

Ms. Powell is the daughter of Malissa Powell and Victor Powell of Scott City. Zerbe is the son of Peggy Zerbe and Barry Zerbe of Cape Girardeau. He is employed at Midwest Environmental Studies.
