Ms. Eftink is the daughter of Pam Eftink and Rick Eftink of Oran. Walter is the son of Sandy Walter and Scott Walter of Oran.

Son to Jerry Leon and Gina Rachelle Elder Jr. of Jackson, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 2:47 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004. Name, Chase Allen. Weight, 7 pounds 12 ounces. Second son. Mrs. Elder is the former Gina Summers, daughter of Bill and Virginia Summers of Dexter, Mo. She is employed at Century 21 Ashland Realty. Elder is the son of Jerry and Pam Elder of Bloomfield, Mo., and Dick and Camille Howell of Huntington Beach, Calif. He is serving with Missouri Army National Guard.

Daughter to Guy "Wayne" and Andrea Lucille Brown Jr. of Jackson, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 10:29 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004. Name, Ellie Grace. Weight, 7 pounds 10 ounces. Second daughter. Mrs. Brown is the former Andrea Runnels, daughter of Diane Runnels of Jackson and Larry Runnels of Pocahontas. She is employed at Crown Cadillac Oldsmobile Nissan. Brown is the son of Guy and Sandy Brown of Jackson. He is employed at Auto Trim Design.

Knapp

Daughter to James Michael and Deidre Jane Knapp of Cape Girardeau, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 9:19 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004. Name, Jennifer Faith. Weight, 6 pounds 14 ounces. Second child, first daughter. Mrs. Knapp is the former Deidre Bingham, daughter of Johnny and Carrie Bingham of Doniphan, Mo. She is a student at Southeast Missouri State University. Knapp is the son of Joe and Sue Knapp of Grandin, Mo., and Gail Bonilla of Pine Bluff, Ark. He is a staff member at Cottonwood Treatment Center.
