Mrs. Groeteke is the former Alyssa Holyfield, daughter of Henry "Butch" Holyfield and Vickie and David Howard of Cape Girardeau. She is employed by the city of O'Fallon, Mo. Groeteke is the son of John and Starlet Groeteke of St. Charles, Mo. He is employed at Wiese Nursery.

Micah Joseph was born at 11:32 p.m. and weighed 4 pounds, 10 ounces. The Kochs also have a daughter. Mrs. Koch is the former Jacqueline Kinder, daughter of Virgil and Karen Kinder of Marble Hill, Mo., and Jackie Kinder of Chaffee, Mo. She is a member of the support staff at Extra Hands. Koch is the son of Robert and Jan Simpher of Jackson, and the late Steve Koch of Cape Girardeau. He is a supervisor at Ceramo.
