Shoemaker is the son of Denise Reutzel of Cape Girardeau and Steve Shoemaker of Oran. He is a carpenter with Drury Southwest.

Saupe is the son of Tom and Berla Strong of Cape Girardeau and Rick and Kathy Saupe of Jackson. He is employed at Papa John's and is attending Southeast Missouri State University.
